From the beginning, we want to make sure you understand what to expect at every step in your treatment.
When you come for your first appointment with us, we will start with your new patient paperwork. You will complete these forms at the office. You also have the option to complete these forms online. Access our new patient information and forms here.
Next, one of our friendly and experienced dental hygienists will seat you in a comfortable chair and explain everything they’ll do from mouth inspection to cleaning and answer any questions you may have. From there, they will do a full set of x-rays and a gum examination. If there are no immediate concerns, the hygienist will do a thorough cleaning. If there are gum disease concerns, our team will discuss these with you and develop a treatment plan.
After the cleaning, Dr. White will review your x-rays with you and perform an examination of your teeth and gums. If any further treatments are needed, Dr. White will go through them with you. Our appointments last about an hour. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have!
After the appointment, you will check out with the office manager. They will review your visit with you, go over any payments owed, and assist you in scheduling any treatments, or follow-up appointments needed. If necessary, they will explain financial payment options as well. If you need anything before your next visit with us, please feel free to give our office a call.
